Darlington Media Group is a cooperative of visual and media artists, from full time professionals to part-time amateurs, who come together to share skills, collaborate on a range of creative projects, and manage arts facilities.Our Media Workshop is a unique media and visual arts resource for Darlington and the north east of England. We provide traditional and digital photography equipment, video production and post production as well as equipment hire up to HD standard. We host a creative arts workshop, which is available to artists for flexible creative use.We host a programme of photographic exhibitions. Our curatorial priorities are built around a vision of support for local artists. We regularly support the production of their work, and much of our exhibition programme is locally sourced. But this is also complimented by regular invitations to international artists to show their work and inspire local photographers.Our work is backed up by a varied education programme, offering artists and other workshop users the technical and creative skills needed to create their own art works. We aim to meet the needs of anyone, from skilled practitioners to people who are just starting out in developing their skills and practice. We have a long history of work with community groups to help them develop and use their skills.With DMG you can:
