Senior Management Team
Dr. Jamie Bell Phd, MSc, BSc (Hons), MCSP Jamie is Clinical Director of Jamie Bell Physiotherapy and has worked as a clinician and lecturer for over a decade. He has worked extensively with professional sports teams, including the Bradford Bulls and Keighley Cougars. His main area of interest is the treatment of musculoskeletal problems and sports injuries. He has completed his PhD in the treatment of back pain, has published extensively on this area, and lectures at both
national and
international conferences. In his previous role, Jamie was Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy at Leeds Metropolitan University.
Amy Bell MBA, BSc (Hons) Amy is Strategy and Finance Director of Jamie Bell Physiotherapy, responsible for the financial management of the business and its strategic development. She has a over a decade of experience in developing new business, which has included establishing a successful trading company in Leeds.
Matthew Donaldson BSc (Hons) Matthew is an experienced Senior Manager, having previously led large teams for a number of private sector companies. As Operations Director, he is responsible for the day to day management of the company. He also leads on developing new business ideas, contract negotiation, recruitment and human resources.
Administrative Team
Vickie Jackson Vickie is the Head of the Administrative team, responsible for monitoring service levels, diary management and patient enquiries. She also leads on organising external public relations events.
Stefanie Tomes Stefanie is responsible for quality control, and has overall responsibility for ensuring that we consistently meet the timescales and expectations of our customers.
Elaine Tordoff Elaine is a key member of the administrative team, with a proven background of working with the West Yorkshire Police and the public.
Sarah Brindle Sarah has a background of working with patients in an NHS environment, and is an experienced member of our administrative team.
Heidi Pickard Heidi has a dual role as part time administrator, and part time massage therapist. As such, she is a skilled communicator that assists in the day to day running of the business.
Helen Hawney Helen has a background of working in the third sector, and works with the Finance Director to assist in the financial management of the business.
Clinical Team
Rose Hiscox BSc (Hons), MCSP Rose is the Head of our Clinical team and is an experienced Senior Physiotherapist. She provides leadership and is the first point of contact for external clinical enquiries. She also runs our in house CPD programme, and is responsible for ensuring diary capacity across the clinics.
Yasmin Haq BSc (Hons), MCSP Yasmin is a Lead clinician and her role provides operational (clinical) support across Jamie Bell Physiotherapy clinics. Yasmin is currently studying for membership of the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists), and is also a skilled neurological physiotherapist.
Emma Marshall BSc (Hons), MCSP Emma has recently joined the team at our Shipley and Halifax clinics, having previously worked for the NHS. She has worked in a variety of musculoskeletal roles, both in outpatients and community settings.
James Pacey MSc, BSc (Hons), MCSP James is a skilled manual therapist, and is currently studying for MACP registration. He has a special interest in spinal biomechanics and Golf Physiotherapy, and enjoys mountain biking (he covers in excess of 100 miles per week!).
Stuart Davies BSc (Hons), MCSP Stuart is currently undergoing further post graduate physiotherapy training (he is studying for an MSc) and also works for Calderdale PCT as a Specialist Lower Limb Physiotherapist. He has previously worked with a variety of sports teams including Huddersfield Town football club.
Aisha Qazi BSc (Hons), MCSP Aisha trained at Bradford University and has recently joined the team. Her background is musculoskeletal, and she also works independently at a Bradford GP practice
Sabrina McLoughlin BSc (Hons), MCSP Sabrina has recently moved back to West Yorkshire after working for Hull PCT as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. She is our lead clinician in Lancashire and a skilled communicator.
Gabriel Sido BSc (Hons), MCSP Gabriel is an experienced clinician who works full time in the NHS, but uses his clinical expertise on a part-time basis at our Burnley clinic. He has a special interest in the use acupuncture for pain relief.
Rick Sedgewick BSc (Hons), MCSP Rick is lead clinician at our Halifax clinic, and when he isn’t working in clinic he enjoys provided sports physiotherapy to his local rugby team. Rick has a background in martial arts, so is well placed to treat injuries related to trauma and contact sports. He is currently undergoing post graduate training and completing his MSc.
Andrew Brogden BSc (Hons), MCSP Andrew works as musculoskeletal specialist for Oldham NHS trust, and has recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine. In his spare time he is an avid football fan, and enjoys supporting his beloved team.
Steven Kenny MSc, BSc (Hons), MCSP Steven’s enthusiasm for Physiotherapy is clear to anyone he meets, and he has a background in Sports and Exercise Science. Since graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University with an MSc in Physiotherapy he has spent time gaining experience within the NHS, in a variety of settings, and now excels in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. Steve also has the accolade of having his reseach published in the
British Journal of Sports Physiology and Performance.
Vikki Mills BSc (Hons), MCSP Vikki has a background of NHS musculoskeletal experience, and has an interest in all areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She has a particular interest in the treatment of football and running injuries (she is a keen runner), and currently provides physiotherapy services to Leeds United.
Lauren Storr BSc (Hons), MCSP Lauren is an experienced physiotherapist and keen sprinter, having graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University. She has strong background of working in private practice, where she specialises in the treatment of sports injuries and spinal conditions.
Janet Lock MPhil, MSc, MCSP Janet graduated with an MSc in Physiotherapy in 2006, and has a musculoskeletal background. In particular, she is experienced in providing ‘on site’ occupational Physiotherapy services. In her spare time she is a keen walker and community volunteer, and is renowned by her patients for providing deep tissue massage.
Anna Angyan BSc, MCSP Anna is an experienced team member at our Hull clinic, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Her areas of specialism are soft tissue mobilisation, occupational physiotherapy and manual therapy.
Sandra Wright PGDip, MCSP Sandy is our most experienced clinician, with a strong clinical and management background in the NHS. She specialises in the assessment and treatment of both peripheral and spinal conditions.
Ivan Daleo BSc (Hons), MCSP Ivan is a new member of the team, working both in the NHS and private practice. He is a skilled musculoskeletal physiotherapist.
Susie Barnett BSc (Hons), MCSP Susie also works as Physiotherapist for Peterborough United, and has an interest in the management of sports injuries.
Dalma Gyarmati BSc, MCSP Dalma heads up our clinic at Peterborough and specialises in soft tissue myofascial release techniques. She has a particular interest in the assessment and management of shoulder and spinal conditions such as scoliosis.
Phil Burton BSc (Hons), MCSP Phil is the lead clinician at our Cheltenham clinic and is a highly skilled musculoskeletal physiotherapist. He has significant experience in both sports injuries (rugby) and occupational physiotherapy, having worked for a number of large industrial companies.
