About Us

The Regan Veterinary Group is a caring and friendly small animal practice based in Bolton. We have 10 surgeries across Bolton, Manchester and Wigan. The Regan Veterinary Group has been established since 1984. The practice now employs over 60 staff working to deliver great animal care to all their clients and pets

• All of the practices were set up by a vet Antony Regan, starting with the Bury Road surgery in 1984. Mr Regan retired in 2006.
• We have 21 vets within the Regans group. This means we can offer you a wide range of specialist care for your pets including: ophthalmology, cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics, exotics and soft tissue surgery. All these vets have have undergone extensive additional training.
• We have 13 qualified nurses within the Regans group, all RCVS registered/listed.
• We have 4 practices in the Regans group that are training practices for veterinary nurses and so we have 2 student nurses and also 4 nursing degree students.
• Across the 10 sites we have an excellent range of equipment that we need to investigating your pets’ problems as well as treating them. These include in-house laboratories, ultrasound machines, a video endoscope, blood pressure monitors, ECG machines, orthopaedic equipment.
