 Sakura has well and truly established itself as Reading’s premier late night venue. Split over four levels with heavy Japanese influences Sakura prides itself on supplying outstanding service and great music. Our Harajuku Lounge Bar offers the perfect intimate and relaxed atmosphere for a few early evening drinks, which is made even more appealing with our half price happy hour from 7pm to 11pm on all Cocktails.

The first floor is where a similarly stunning bar runs along one wall, with four luscious 15 seat booths separated by shimmer screens. The centerpiece is the 54-square illuminated LED dancefloor.

Upstairs is the VIP Gold Room. Suspended above the main floor, allowing customers to look onto the dancefloor if you are on our spectacular balcony booths, it features five intimate tables all differring in size plus the amazing LED lit ‘Directors Table’, flashing away in time with the music. Table service provides the best cocktails and most premium bottles direct to the table throughout the night.

The final touch is the roof terrace, Hojo. Timber seating booths allow customers to enjoy a cocktail under the stars, as well as being a welcome change for those wishing to enjoy a quick cigarette from the usual “huddle on the pavement” offered by most venues.
