The Christmas bakery has stood in the village of Worplesdon near Guildford, Surrey, since the middle of Queen Victoria’s reign.  Established in 1860 by James Christmas, the business started as a bakers, grocers and butchers and since its opening has been run by successive generations of the Christmas family ever since.  Today the business operates just as a bakery and sees its 5th generation of the Christmas family.For over 150 years, we have baked traditional fresh quality bread and cakes and have built our reputation on combining good quality traditional baking with good value for money. We offer customers a full-range of breads, morning goods, cakes and pastries and if you visit our shop today you’ll still find many traditional bakery lines such as our famous lardy cakes!  Our experienced bakers bake day and night with pride and passion to ensure you enjoy warm-hearty loaves and delicious cakes, and with our most experienced baker still baking 48 years after he joined, traditional craft baking at The Christmas Bakery, is still very much alive!In addition to producing daily products for our busy bakery shop, The Christmas Bakery also welcomes wholesale enquires, we currently deliver daily across three counties to farm shops, tearooms, golf clubs, schools and sandwich shops.
