The Veterinary Hospital

The practice that was to become the Hospital was started over 100 years ago by Charles Seeley at Monks Road in the centre of Lincoln. The site was purchased by the Technical College in 1977 and the practice moved to Riseholme Road.

Following upgrading and improvement Hospital status was granted in 1986, the first Veterinary Hospital in Lincolnshire.

We moved to the present site on Newport, Lincoln in June 2000 having outgrown Riseholme Road after being there for 23 years.

There are six veterinary surgeons, working at the Hospital supported by a team of eight veterinary nurses, six receptionists and one secretary.

There is a Branch Surgery at Doddington Road, south of Lincoln where consultations only are carried out. All operations are performed at the main hospital.
