The riding school was founded by my late mother, Pauline Thorne, in 1983. Now run by myself Clare Thorne. It has always been and always will remain a small, friendly and family-run yard.We are members of the ABRS (Association of British Riding School).We have horses and ponies of various sizes and types.Our yard has a full sized rubber menáge and a jumping paddock.There’s a viewing area for spectators and ample off road parking.  We offer a range of group, semi-private and private lesson for all ages and abilities.Pony mornings or full days are avaliable in school holidays. Dressage and jumping mornings/day's.Action packed summer camp.Birthday Parties.A.B.R.S riding tests and stable management tests.Stable management courses.Hacking available on assessment only.Further details of the activities on news page.We have 25yrs+ of experience of breaking, schooling and retraining.
