Holtwhites is an exciting new bakery and deli based in Enfield, north London. Run by husband and wife team Richard Copsey and Kate Smith, we produce a changing selection of naturally delicious bread and cakes for our customers to enjoy each day. We started out as a micro-bakery making artisan bread and cakes from our home each weekend for a small group of friends. After a year, demand had outgrown our kitchen so we made the exciting and life-changing decision to give up our day jobs and open our first shop. Unlike large-scale producers, we are driven by quality and flavour rather than speed or cost. The best quality ingredients (for example organic flour, free-range eggs, unsalted butter, sea salt) and traditional 'slow' baking methods mean that our food tastes better, is better for you and is better value because you’re going to love eating it! To accompany our fine bread and cakes we offer a carefully selected range of deli items including farmhouse cheeses, charcuterie, olives, preserves and wines, as well as home-made soups, salads and sandwiches freshly made with seasonal ingredients. We can put together beautiful hampers, and we are happy to provide platters for small parties and events. Our shop is a short and picturesque walk along the New River from Enfield town, within easy reach of public transport links (Enfield Town, Enfield Chase and Gordon Hill railway stations, and 191 and W9 bus routes) and with parking on Chase Side and nearby streets. We are open from 7:30am to 5:00pm Tuesday to Friday and 8am to 4pm on Saturday (we are closed on Sunday and Monday). Our bread can be ordered in advance and we plan to start a delivery service soon.
