Pruden’s was founded in the Hertfordshire village of Markyate in 1928 by Bill Pruden and is currently run by his two grandsons Andrew & Jonathan.

 

The original Bakery shop still exists on the same site today although a brand new bakery production facility was constructed in 2000.

 

Pruden’s have six retail bakery shops located in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire and offer a wholesale catering service, delivering a wide variety of fresh baked goods to Catering Establishments throughout Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire, 6 days per week.

 

We also specialise in wedding cakes, celebration cakes and party catering for all occasions. In addition we offer a complete business buffet service to Companies throughout the region.
